Hallowe’en Fruit Shoot

2013-10-23

Hey everybody,

The Halloween Fruit Shoot has finally arrived! On Saturday 26th get out your spookiest costume and come to the range from 6pm, where we’ll be shooting fruit, cuddly toys (which are inevitably not so cuddly once we’re finished) and eating lots of sweets until 9pm to celebrate Halloween.

We will be shooting beginner bows which will already be set up. The range will be as you’ve never seen it before (unless you’ve been in previous years of course) with spooky music and candlelight. It’s also a completely free event, and both novices and seniors are welcome.

If we manage to set up earlier than 6pm, I’ll post on the SUAC page and the event group page so that people know they can come down. You don’t have to turn up bang on time either, turn up whenever you want and shoot for as long as you want until 9pm.

Best costume will get some sort of prize and don’t worry, if fancy dress isn’t your thing you don’t have to dress up. It’s a really great fun social, and as I’ve said before the Halloween Fruit Shoot was my first social last year as a novice and I really loved it. So if you’re a bit shy about coming to socials honestly it’s a great chance to meet all the lovely people at SUAC whilst still getting some shooting done; it may be Halloween but I promise we’re not scary!
