On Sunday 17th November 2019, we ran our first competition for our new beginners, having just finished their beginners’ courses the weekend before. We kicked off at 10 o’clock with the novices’ first Portsmouth round (of many more I’m sure), and each end ran smoother than the last as the new novices got to grips with the competition format, meaning we finished at 3 o’clock with time to spare. I want to say a well done to all of the novices who shot, as we saw lots of good technique and scores throughout the day, and thanks to all the seniors who helped organise and run the competition making sure everything ran smoothly.
